John Assaraf was born in Israel and moved to Montreal when he was 6. He started his career as a real estate agent with RE/MAX and earned his first pot of gold at a very young age.
John then took a year off traveling the world and when he got back, he was inspired to grow the real estate company bigger. He started off in Indiana, and bought the RE/MAX real estate firm license and then grew it to $4.5 billion revenue a year business with over 1,500 salespeople in the company.
John Assaraf then decided it was time to go on and started another business in the travel industry. John found Bamboo.com, which grew from inception into a $10 million a month company. The company was performing so good that John filed an IPO and successfully listed the company on NASDAQ, all within 12 months.
Apart from being a successful entrepreneur, John was also an author. He has published numerous popular books including Having It All, The Answer, and The Vision Board Kit. And out of all his books, Having It All and The Answer managed to get into the New York Times bestseller list.
John has also been featured on many radios and television shows such as The Ellen Degeneres Show, Larry King Live, The Donny Deutsch Show, Forbes, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Entrepreneur.
In 2006, John was also been invited to be one of the teachers for the groundbreaking movie, The Secret. Besides that, he was also been featured in Quest for Success with Richard Branson and the Dalai Lama. Today, he is the CEO for NeuroGym, one of the most advanced neuroscience based brain training program in the human potential realm. John also believed in contributing to the society and he has involved with the Rady Children’s Hospital and Just Like My Child Foundation.
