Nicholas James Vujicic was born in 1982, he is a motivational speaker, an author and also an Australian Christian evangelist. Nick was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder without arms and legs. Out of all the people who were born with this disorder syndrome, Nick was one of the seven in this world that survived and lived on without limbs. Despite all the hardships, Nick was able to graduate from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
There were times when Nick tried to commit suicide, but failed and was saved by his mother. He was inspired by a newspaper article about a man dealing with disability and at age 19, he started his speaking engagements. In 2005, he found Life Without Limbs, an international non-profit organization aimed to help those in need and in 2007, he established Attitude is Altitude, a motivational company.
Nick released a documentary movie in 2005 called, Life’s Greater Purpose to inspire others in life. He became famous and was invited to the ’20/20′ television series aired in the United States, interviewed by Bob Cummings.
In 2009, Nick was featured in the short film, The Butterfly Circus and the movie was well-received by the audience. He was awarded the Best Actor in a Short Film at the 2010 Method Fest Independent Film Festival. That year, Nick released his first book, Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life and became a huge success.
Today, Nick has written numerous books including Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action, Stand Strong, Love Without Limits and The Power of Unstoppable Faith. He was invited to give a speech at the World Economic Forum in 2011 and his books have been translated into more than 30 languages selling worldwide and touching millions of souls. Nick has spoken to colleges, schools, corporate audience, and congregations; and he was nominated for the Young Australian of the Year Award in 2015.
